The Festival
Starting in Edinburgh in 1947, there are now more than 250 fringe festivals worldwide. Thessaloniki Fringe Festival‘s aim is to connect Greek artists with the worldwide Fringe community and to present international talent to local audiences. Its goal is to create a welcoming community, to encourage artistic expression, foster collaborations & provide new experiences for audiences.
In it’s second edition 29 shows from more than 10 countries, representing various genres (including circus, theatre, comedy, cabaret, physical theatre) were presented in 10 venues around the city. See our 2024 programme here
The next Thessaloniki Fringe Festival is going to take place in autumn 2025.
